Pinnacle Masters Practices Officially Kickoff Wednesday, May 28!
Membership dues
Membership dues are paid monthly. When you join Pinnacle Aquatic Masters Swimming you agree to pay the monthly fee. When setting up a monthly payment option, please use a credit card that can be charged each month without issue. Having a credit card on file is required when you sign up. Masters team membership allows you to swim at any of the available weekly Masters practices. Swim meets and other team functions will have additional costs involved.
REC CENTER membership requirement: You MUST be a member of the Jackson County Recreation Center to swim on the Masters team.
US Masters Swimming (USMS) membership requirement: USMS membership is required to be on the team. This is a $75 yearly fee, which also provides many other benefits from USMS.

Monthly fees
Monthly fees are due the 1st of every month and billed to your credit card on file. The following fees apply:
- White/Black/Blue Group: $50/month
Other fees
Items including swim meet fees, required equipment purchases, travel, or other items are separate from monthly training fees.
Past due accounts
Accounts with outstanding balances may be prohibited from a competition. Accounts more than 30-days past due will be suspended. Swimmers of these accounts will not be allowed to practice or participate in any team related functions until the account is up to date.
How do I join Masters?
Step 1: Join US Masters Swimming
Pinnacle Aquatics Masters Swimming (PINN) requires USMS membership to be on the team and swim practices.
To join US Masters Swimming:
- Go to www.usms.org.
- Click JOIN USMS. If you have been a member before, click RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP.
- Follow the steps to become a member. IMPORTANT: When you're prompted to pick a club to affiliate with, please pick Pinnacle Aquatics Masters Swimming (PINN) for your club team.
- Complete the registration process.
- Bring your registration card with you to your first practice, and please show your coach
Step 2: Join Jackson County Parks & Recreation Department
You will need to signup for a Rec Center membership to swim with the Masters team. Membership to the Rec Center allows you to use everything the facility offers. You can either register online or stop by the front desk to start your membership.
NOTE: If you're already a member, you don't need to complete this step.
To create a Rec Center membership online:
- Go to: https://jcprd.recdesk.com/Community/Home
- Click Memberships.
- Scroll down to Cullowhee Adult memberships.
- Select the membership that works best for you. NOTE: There is a second page of memberships if you click 2 at the bottom.
- Complete the registration process.
- Stop by the Rec Center front desk to pick up your membership card.
Step 3: Join Pinnacle Aquatics Masters Swimming
Ok, lets get you registered to swim with Pinnacle Aquatics Masters Swimming!
To join Masters:

- Follow the steps for registering.
- Pay the first month's dues and keep your credit card on file for future billing.
Step 4: Sign the Masters Swimming Code of Conduct
NOTE: If you already did this during the registration process, you don't need to do it again here.
Membership early termination and withdrawal
If you need to END your membership with the Masters team, please let the coach know that you’re leaving the team. Your coach or the aquatics director can help you stop any further monthly payments. If you paid the year-pay option, no refunds will be given.
If you need to PAUSE your membership with the Masters team, please let the coach know your plans. Your coach or the aquatics director can help you to suspend payment until you return to the team. Payment will resume when you return to the team and restart your membership.
Account holder privacy policy
Jackson County Recreation Center staff will only discuss the account status and business transactions with the primary account holder. Payments may be accepted toward an account by another individual with the permission of the account holder. Information regarding account status may be discussed with, but is not limited to, the primary account holder, aquatics director, head coach, Jackson County Recreation Center membership staff. Account status is maintained confidentiality.
