AquaACTIVE Class
This low-impact, feet-on-the-bottom, shallow water exercise program is designed to increase flexibility, strength, range of motion, and cardio health. By using the water as resistance, your instructor will activate different muscle groups to increase your overall fitness. New to exercising in the water, not much of a swimmer, this is a great place to start. Classes are weekly, 45-minutes in length, and take place in the Recreation Pool.
- Classes are typically Monday - Friday from 10-10:45 AM
- Class sizes are limited, so you MUST reserve your spot in the class each day you want to participate. Registration opens 24-hours (the day before) the class date.
AquaFIT Class
Looking for a more intense aqua class to significantly improve your overall fitness? Are you comfortable in deeper water? If so, this class is for you. Cardiovascular fitness is improved through a variety of different exercises using in-water equipment. Strengthen and increase flexibility in your core, legs, and arms through the resistance of the water. Classes are weekly, 45 minutes in length, and take place in the Competition Pool.
- Classes are typically Monday from 12-12:45 PM
- Class sizes are limited, so you MUST reserve your spot in the class each day you want to participate. Registration opens 24-hours (the day before) the class date.
AquaZUMBA Class
Like a Zumba class in a studio, this version just adds water. Your instructor will have you moving and energizing your body through choreographed dance moves to fun and exciting music. You'll get non-stop cardio fitness along with strength and flexibility exercise all while having fun in the water. Never heard of Zumba before…think dance (but in the water). Classes are weekly, 45 minutes in length, and take place in the Recreation Pool.
- Classes are typically Monday and Wednesday 5:45-6:30 PM and Saturday from 9-9:45 AM
